Cedar Bliss

The mist rises, sunward reaching,

on a windless morn the cool air hangs.

A vision walks into outstretched arms,

dew falls on soft supple skin.

The sun breaks through, warming the air,

as two walk the trail, hand upon hand.

Tree limbs bent to touch the damp ground,

shadow acouple, lain upon a pine needle bed.

Breathe the freshness, that permeates the morn,

nature’s wildlife rustle, among deciduous leaves.

Fall breaks into life, golden and brown,

the day passes into dusk’s warm sunset.

Couple still lay, under arched canopies,

gazing skyward at natures display.
