About Don
Don has been a lifelong amateur photographer and writer. His photography skills improved while living in Germany, taking hundreds of black and white photos of landscapes and buildings. Through black and white photography he learned about contrast and how light plays in photos. Through countless hours spent in the darkroom, he learned how to frame a scene. He was fortunate to be mentored by a German photographer. Today most of his digital photos are never touched with Photoshop.
As a writer he has written poems, short stories, and started a couple of novels, mostly unpublished. It has always been a passion and a constant hobby throughout his life.
Now he is looking to launch a second career and merge his two lifelong passions into a combined enterprise. This website is a virtual gallery and he welcomes interested parties to contact him regarding his writings or photography.
