Dreams may die

Tomorrow's dreams are fragile
not knowing if they'll come.
Today we have a yearning,
tomorrow it may be gone

Maybe for the better,
they say things happen
for a reason, and some
may never come.

If you believe in fate
you may be victim,
of an action never done;
a time may never come.

In your dreams you find your heart,
free to roam without recourse.
A kind heart helps the many
in real life can't afford to feed

Passionate souls keep tucked away
in dreams without limit.
They hug and kiss those dear
without regret or anxiety.

Choose with your gravity free heart,
suspended in a dream at dusk.
Dawn breaks dreams with chores,
countless things leading to the next.

If you want to change your course,
your dreams provide the compass.
Your heart and stubborn spirit
provides the wind to your sail.

Muse of your subconscious sees all,
telling you what you need to see.
Not blinded by words used to control,
or words used in passion not meant.

If your heart is true,
so shall be your journey.
Let it guide your way;
no one, nothing else, can.
